Using this Site

 

Creating a New Curriculum


As soon as you log in, you will be automatically taken to the Curriculum Builder area. If you've already created one or more curricula, a list of your current curricula will be shown. You can select any previous curriculum to edit by clicking on the curriculum name.

To start a new curriculum, select the Create a new curriculum link.

There are five basic steps in creating your curriculum:
  • Defining your demographics and setting
  • Completing needs assessments
  • Choosing appropriate activities
  • Reviewing and customizing your curriculum
  • Generating your curriculum report
This tutorial will walk you through the necessary steps to create a new curriculum.

Book Throughout the tutorial, we will note which chapter(s) of the Handbook would be most helpful in understanding this section of the Curriculum Builder. Look for this symbol to see which chapter(s) you should review.
